Ground turkey burger has become a staple food in this household to make all kinds of meals. One of our favorite meals being tender turkey meatballs, which can be used in a classic spaghetti and meatball dish or as they are with some marinade dressing or barbecue sauce poured over the top of them.
The ingredients you will need to make the tender turkey meatballs are 2-pounds of ground turkey burger, 2 to 3-slices of bread, tablespoon of dried parsley, sprinkle of salt and black pepper, ¼ teaspoon each of garlic powder, onion powder and paprika, 1-large egg and a tablespoon of milk.
However, you can add whatever seasoning you choose. The seasonings I choose above are just the basic seasonings to use for making basic meatballs with a nice savory flavor.
Instructions for Making the Meatballs
1. Place the ground turkey burger and spices into a large mixing bowl. Crumble up the bread and toss that into it as well. Next, crack the egg and place that into the bowl too with the splash of milk. After, combine the ingredients together well using your hands or a mixer on low speed to create a nice meaty dough.
2. Next, take about 2-tablespoons of the meat dough at a time and make meatballs with it until all the dough is used up. Place the meatballs into a deep casserole dish and cover that up with aluminum foil. After, poke a few small holes through the top of the foil.
3. Bake the meatballs in a 350 degree oven for about thirty minutes. After, remove them from the oven, allow them to cool for five minutes and than use them for whatever meal you wish to use them with.
