It took several years of trying different recipes too finally make a delicious pot of sweet classic chili. Finally, I have a basic recipe to share with all of you and I hope you love how easy it is to make and eat.
Place all the ingredients into a slow cooker and allow them to simmer together on low heat for four to six hours with occasional stirring in between to help bring the flavors together. Once the chili is ready, it should be slightly thickened with tender veggies and beans with a lovely sweet and slightly warmed spice flavor. You may serve the chili up with a side of corn bread or tortilla chips or even topped off with cottage cheese, sour cream or shredded cheese. Each your chili the way you like it best because that is the best way to enjoy a good dish of it for a hearty healthy filling meal.
Throughout the slow cooking you may add more seasoning, sugar, Worcestershire sauce and water to adjust the flavor and texture of your chili!
