Lush Cosmetics is one of my new favorite beauty care shops to shop at because they make handmade head to toe products from all natural ingredients. I was recently in one of the Lush Cosmetics Shops near me and picked up a small container of the Charity Pot Hand and Body Lotion to have on hand because it fits nicely in my handbag and is easy to travel with when I am out.
In addition, buying one of the Charity Pot Hand and Body Lotions also supports different types of charities that help other people out and I am always one for supporting good causes. One of the causes Lush donates the one too is Centro Mujeres Advocates. This is a charity, that defends human rights and I am all about defending the right that we humans have.
Anyways, I will review the product a bit for you and you can decide from that whether or not it is a hand and body lotions you feel is worth buying and trying. I know I personally believe every penny of mine was well spent because this hand and body lotion is actually hydrating and nourishing to my skin. It even healed up my cracked fingertips and heels.
Packaging and Pricing
The Charity Pot Hand and Body Lotion comes in two different sizes. The size I got was the 1.5-ounce black pot, but you can get the 7.9-ounce pot if you prefer. I like the smaller ones because like I mentioned I can fit them right in my handbag and travel with them easily so I always have it on hand to use when my hands are a bit dried out.
Best of all, the black pot it comes in is recyclable, which makes this an earth friendly product. I like any kind of product that helps support the earth in anyways. After all, the more we can do to help keep the earth clean the more beautiful it will be for future generations to live upon.
Anyways, the price I paid for my Charity Pot was around $6, but the large pots can cost around $23. However, depending on where you live and where you purchase this product the pricing can vary.

Texture, Appearance & Scent
The texture of this hand and body lotion is a thick butter cocoa butter like texture that is very creamy and rich. A little bit of this hand and body cream goes a really long ways, unless your skin is very dry. If you skin is very dry, this body cream will just be sucked right into the skin to help hydrate and nourish it beautifully. You may even find yourself reapplying until your skin feels moisten enough.
The appearance of the hand and body cream is this rich buttery color. Actually, it rather reminds me of butter to tell you the truth. However, Charity Pot does not smell like butter at all to be honest with you.
In fact, Charity Pot Hand & Body Lotion smells like florally cocoa butter. It is very light and sweet too. It is definitely a scent that is for men and women. I know my boyfriend uses this product as a hand cream to help hydrate and condition his rough dried out hands and he loves it.
Using the Hand & Body Lotion
My favorite way to apply the hand and body lotion is by scooping up a little bit with my hands and massaging it into my hands well. I do the something with my feet and even my body. However, I must say I find this lotion absorbs better into the skin after a warm shower or bath, but you can decide how you prefer using it and when the best time to apply, is for you.
Overall, I love this hand and body lotion and will definitely continue you having a pot in my handbag at all times to use when my hands get dried out during my travels. It is definitely one that keeps my hands and skin soft and well nourished without all those toxic chemicals that are in most unnatural hand and body lotions.
