I love glazes on my ham butts and steaks and one of my favorite glazes to make is my maple sugar honey glaze. It requires few basic ingredients and materials and takes very little time to make.
½ Cup of Brown Sugar
Cup of Honey
Cup of Maple Syrup
That is IT!
Measure out the ingredients, place them into a small mixing bowl, and combine them together with a wire whisk or mixing spoon until you get a thick gooey golden brown maple sugar honey glaze. After, brush the glaze onto the ham in a nice thick even layer and bake the ham off the way you choose. I choose to add pineapples and cherries on the top of my ham as well for extra sweetness.
If the glaze is to thick and won’t spread easily, heat it up in a small saucepan until it melts and turns into a sticky syrup that you can just pour over the ham instead.
