.The natural nourishing and soothing ingredients used in the soothing grape and honey facial mask are ¼ cup of pureed red seedless grapes, ½ cup of honey, ¼ cup of English clay powder, ¼ teaspoon of vitamin E oil and ¼ teaspoon of grape seed oil. All these ingredients can be found in your local drug store, grocery store or herbal store if you do not already have them on hand. The reasons I use these ingredients are because they contain potent antioxidants in them that help reverse the signs of aging and dryness of the skin.
The way to make the homemade soothing grape and honey facial mask is by taking the pureed red grapes, honey, English clay powder, vitamin E oil and grape seed oil and placing them into a small mixing bowl. Then you will want to take a spoon or wire whisk and combined the ingredients together until you get a thick brownish mask that is smooth in texture. If you find the mask to be to runny add more clay powder and if you find the mask to thick add more honey or grape seed oil. Once the mask is made it is best to use it right away, but if you cant you can store it away in a plastic container for up to 3 days.
When you are ready to use the soothing grape and honey face mask for mature irritated skin all you need to do is wash your face down with warm water and a gentle facial cleanser. Then all you need to do is pat your face dry and take a handful of the homemade mask and place a nice thick even layer all over your skin and face. Once the facial mask is on you should leave it on for up to an hour if possible, but 30 minutes is just fine. The reason you want to leave this mask on for as long as you can is so it has time to soothe and nourish your skin from dryness while reducing the appearances of the fine lines and wrinkles. Once the time is up you can wash the face mask right off with warm water and pat your skin dry.
