My all time favorite place to visit in Kentucky is Mammoth Cave National Park. Mammoth Cave National Park is a place where you can explore miles and miles of long wide open caves underneath the earth where water flows through rivers deep inside the caves carving out more magnificent caves to see and explore. Mammoth Cave National Park is also a place where you can hear mysterious music being played inside the caves and a place where you can camp over night with your friends and family for a really unique and exciting adventure.Mammoth Cave National Park is located on 1 Mammoth Parkway in Mammoth Cave, Kentucky. Mammoth Cave National Park is open year around. The costs to explore Mammoth Cave National Park all depends on what you want to do inside the park, but a typical cave tour usually only cost five dollars. You can see all fees for the national park by simply going to http://www.nps.gov/maca/planyourvisit/feesandreservations.htm.
Before heading out for adventures through Mammoth Cave National Park there are some things you need to know ahead of time. First thing you need to know is you want to make sure your wearing a good pair of walking shoes such as sneakers because the caves are slippery and wet and a sweater or sweat shirt because the temperatures inside the cave tend to be a bit cooler than the outdoors. Second thing you want to do is make sure you're physically fit to climb and walk through the caves because some areas of the cave can be a bit tiring to walk and climb at times. Third thing that is important to know is to always stay with your tour group and on the trail while you're exploring the Mammoth Caves because some areas of the cave can be very dangerous if you were to go off on your own and you may even end up getting lost if you don't know where you are going. Other than that just simply have a fun and exciting time exploring the caves with your tour groups.

For those of you who don't know what the Mammoth Caves are they are caves that were carved out by fast rivers of water. Inside the Mammoth Caves you will notice it is dark and damp with shimmers of sunlight shinning through cracks inside the caves. Inside the cave there are wild animals living inside it such as fish, birds, rodents, crustaceans, mammals, insects, amphibians, corals, sponges, and many more amazing wonderful earthly creatures whom you must respect as well as their environment. Outside the caves you will also notice wild grass and flowers growing and you must respect those growing lives as well. The caves are also known as a place where bands would go inside and play their instruments that echoed off the caves walls creating beautiful peaceful music. Some of the bands long ago that played inside the Mammoth Caves were Landram's Sax-Horn Band and Luther Ewing's String Band. It has even been said that sometimes you will even hear the caves play a mysterious kind of music that know one has ever been able to tell where it was coming from, which sounds very fascinating to me.
