One of my all time favorite things to do is swimming, but sometimes the weather can prevent me from doing so. However, there is this awesome indoor water park in Anchorage, Alaska where you can swim, slide, and do a lot more wonderful water activities no matter what the weather is like outdoors. It is defiantly a neat place to travel to, visit, and spend the day with your friends and family for some serious indoor water park fun.This indoor water park is called, "H2Oasis Indoor Water park," and it is located on 1520 O'Malley Road in Anchorage, Alaska. This beautiful indoor water park is open daily throughout the year. On weekdays the indoor water park is open from 3 pm until 9 pm and on weekends the indoor water park is open from 10 am until 9 pm. The cost for a day pass at H2Oasis Indoor Water park is $21.95 for adults and $16.95 for children.
Now, you may also rent a locker at inside the indoor water park to put your personal belongs in so they don't get wet, but there is a $3.00 fee to pay in addition to admission prices. Another thing you will be able to use while your inside the water park are the changing rooms and hot showers, but you have to bring your own soap, shampoo, and towels. You may also use the tanning beds inside the water park as well if you would like a little summer tan, which is always nice to have.
H2Oasis Indoor Water park has dozens of awesome water slides to slide down while your there having fun and they are the Mushroom Water Drop, 6 Water Cannon, and the body slide. Another awesome water ride they have inside the indoor water park is the lazy river where you go and float on a float down a relaxing man made river, which is very calming and fun to do. They also have a large wave pool inside H2Oasis Indoor Water park that has four foot waves to catch, and for the little ones they have a pirate ship with water cannons for them to play with along with a few kiddie pools to swim in.
The H2Oasis also offers lessons for swimming and kayaking for those people who would like to learn how to swim and kayak. There is also indoor water aerobic classes for people to take with an instructor, and an activity called the "River Walk," where you walk through an indoor river to help you get exercise. Another activities going on inside H2Oasis Indoor Water park in Anchorage, Alaska are the indoor arcade games in the game room and a Food and Beverage Area where you can grab something to eat and drink such as pizza, soft drinks, subs, and ice cream. However, I will worn you now the food can be a bit pricey so be careful. One more thing you could do inside the indoor water park is visit their gift shop where you can purchase awesome tee shirts, towels, hats, postcards, and other neat gifts.
