Dinosaur Land Shenandoah Valley in Virginia is one of the neatest places to visit if you have a little one who is passionate about for learning about dinosaurs. It is a place where a child can feel like they are among the dinosaurs that use to roam the earth billions of years ago, while getting the chance to see some real live dinosaur bones up close and even how dinosaurs use to look long, long ago. Dinosaur Land is also the perfect place to take a field trip with your school to learn about prehistorically creatures that lived up the earth many years ago.Dinosaur Land is located in Shenandoah Valley in Virginia on Route 277. Dinosaur land is open from 9:30 am until 5:30 pm seven days a week. The cost to get into Dinosaur Land is five dollars for adults and four dollars for children. Dinosaur Land is also handicap accessible which makes it easy for any disable people to get around the park a lot easier so they can enjoy the dinosaur exhibits as well.
Some of the types of dinosaur exhibits you will see in Dinosaur Land will be giganotosaurus, dilophsaurus, triceratops, pteranodon, stegosaurus, stracosaurus, and megalosaurus. However there are a lot more dinosaur exhibits to see than that inside Dinosaur Land, but your going to have to look around the park and try to find them yourself so you can learn more about all the different types of dinosaurs there were long, long ago roaming the earth. You will also notice that all the dinosaur exhibits are outside under trees and in wide open areas, as well as hidden.
Now the types of prehistoric exhibits you will see inside Dinosaur Land will be the mammoth, saber tooth tiger, twenty foot long king cobra, ground sloth, praying mantis, a seventy foot octopus, and the sixty foot long shark. At each prehistoric exhibit you will see a pretend live size version of the prehistoric creature that roamed the earth long ago and you will get the chance to read about them and learn about them there as well.
Then after your done visiting and learning about each dinosaur and prehistoric creature exhibit you can go and visit the Dinosaur Land Gift Shop. Inside the Dinosaur Land Gift Shop you will be able to purchase a dinosaur souvenir to bring home with you so you can always have something to remember your day at Dinosaur Land. Some of the souvenirs you can be will be tee shirts, hats, pencils, magnets, post cards, stuffed animals, dinosaur figurines, dinosaur stickers, and the gift list goes on and on. You can even get pottery and jewelry inside the Dinosaur Land Gift Shop, which is also pretty neat as well.
