I am sure most of you have heard about have a chicken Cesar salad, but what about a steak tip one? My boyfriend and I made one recently and it tasted delicious and filled the tummies right up with healthy nourishing nutrients. A steak tip salad has a good source of vitamins, minerals, protein, fiber and carbohydrates for energy.
The Ingredients Needed
The ingredients you will need to make a steak tip Cesar salad are a pound of good quality steak tips, two bags of your favorite leafy green blends, cup of croutons, one cup of sliced cherry tomatoes, one cucumber peeled and sliced up and a forth cup of grated parmesan cheese. You will also need some salt and pepper and some Cesar salad dressing.
1. Open bags of shredded lettuce and pour them into a deep casserole dish. Then add the croutons, sliced cherry tomatoes and cucumber slices onto the top and set the salad a side.
2. Slice and toss up the steak tips into a hot non-stick skillet pan, add some salt and pepper to add some flavor and sauté them up on medium to high heat until they are cooked medium well. Then, set the steak tips aside and allow them to cool for 5-7 minutes. Tossing the steak tips onto the leafy green salad immediately will cause it to wilt down into mush.
3. Toss the cooled down steak tips onto the leafy green salad with a good sprinkle of grated parmesan cheese and croutons. After, drizzle some Cesar dressing over the top and serve it up for a tasty light nourishing meal.
If you want a different kind of steak tip salad just switch up your dressings. Maybe instead of Cesar use ranch or Italian. Be creative with this dish.
