The ingredient you will need for the maple bourbon steak tips are obviously a few pounds of quality steak tips, a bottle of sweet bourbon marinade dressing, some pure maple syrup, salt and pepper and some dark drown sugar. These ingredients you can find at a grocery store or local meat market. If you are looking you may even be able to find these ingredients fresh at a farmers market as well.
Instructions for Making the Steak Tips
1. Cut up the steak tips into bite sized chunks on a cutting board using a sharp knife. Then place the chunks into a large tubby container with the sweet bourbon marinade dressing, a forth cup of maple syrup, a sprinkle of salt and pepper and a forth cup of brown sugar. Then, combine the ingredients together with a wooden spoon, put a lid over the top of the container and place the tips in the refrigerator to soak in all the flavor for about 6 to 12-hours.
2. In a large skillet pan, add a tablespoon of olive oil and heat the pan up on medium to high heat on the stove burner. Then, toss the tips into the pan and cook them for about 7 to 10 minutes, or until browned. You may add in some slices of onion or red bell or green bell peppers to add in more flavor and nutrition.
3. Serve the steak tips up hot with your favorite side dishes for a hearty filling meal that will sure please you and the tummy. If you end up having left over steak tips just store them in a clean air tight container in the refrigerator and use them on a steak tip salad or in a sub sandwich.
