There is nothing I like better than a good coconut hair conditioner so I gave the Hugo Naturals Smoothing and Defining Coconut Conditioner a try. I have to say I actually like it and think it sweet just like coconuts unlike some coconut hair conditioners out there on the market.
Ingredients & Packaging
The Hugo Naturals Smoothing and Defining Coconut Conditioner comes in a nice squeezable plastic bottle that contains about 2-fluid ounces of conditioner in it. The coconut conditioner inside the bottle is creamy white in color and thick and smooth in texture. It has a nice creamy sweet coconut scent to it that I find tropical and delightful.
The natural ingredients in this hair conditioner are cocoa extract, vanilla extract, plumeria flowers, vitamins, minerals glycerin, coconuts, Tahitian monoi oil and quinoa proteins. These natural ingredients are what help soften, smooth, nourish and condition my hair naturally without weighing it down and making my hair feel greasy and oily, which I really like.
Using the Conditioner
The first thing I do before using the soothing coconut conditioner wash my hair with an organic shampoo. Then I like to take a small handful of the hair conditioner and massage it into my hair and scalp well. After I like to leave the conditioner in my hair for about 5 minutes because I feel it helps smooth out my frizz and soften up my hair better this way. Then I rinse my hair out with warm water and squeeze the water out of it. The conditioner does take a few minutes to rinse out of the hair so be patience. After the conditioner is rinsed out of the hair and the hair is squeezed out, it is manageable and so easy to comb.
I have noticed since using this soothing conditioner my hair is a lot softer and bouncier. It even has some volume and shine too, which is so nice. I even love how the scent of the coconut conditioner lingers in my hair for hours on end. I even get many compliments on good my hair smells.
I would highly recommend the Hugo Naturals Smoothing and Defining Coconut Conditioner to anyone who loves a good natural coconut conditioner as much as I do. I will continue to use this hair conditioner in the future because it is affordable. I do hope those of you who try this hair conditioner out will like how it smells and works also.
