Sometimes skin can become very dull appearing with a rough texture. The best way to rid dull dry skin is by making and using a homemade sea salt scrub. A homemade sea salt scrub can help give skin a beautiful glow and soft silky texture.
Ingredients Needed to Make Scrub
The ingredients needed to make a sea salt scrub are really basic. Those ingredients are four cups of sea salt, two cups of olive oil, one tablespoon of vitamin E oil and twenty five drops of your favorite essential oil such as lavender or peppermint.
Making the Sea Salt Scrub
To make the sea salt scrub simply pour all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and combined them together until you get an oily thick gritty pleasant smelling texture. Once the scrub is made you can pour it into a container and store it near the shower for up to a week until you are ready to use it for exfoliating the skin naturally.
Using the Scrub
To use the homemade sea salt scrub it is best to soak in a warm bath for fifteen minutes to help warn and soften up the dampened skin so the skin is easier to exfoliate. Once the skin has softened up you can take a handful of the scrub and rub it all over the body from head to toe until you feel your body is well exfoliated from dead skin. After, it is best to rinse down with warm water, dry off with a towel and apply a lovely body lotion to the skin to help hydrate, protect and soften it up so it can stay beautiful all day long.
Do not use homemade sea salt on broken irritated skin because it will sting and burn and cause even more irritation.
