Every now and again I have a really hard time waking myself up in the morning because I am just so sleepy. On those types of mornings I make a quick homemade moisturizing wake up body wash and wash up with it in the shower and it really helps wake me right up while nourishing and cleansing my body and skin.
The ingredients needed to make the homemade moisturizing wake up body wash are 1 cup of super strong coffee, 1 cup of liquid hemp castile soap, ½ cup of aloe vera juice, and 1 cup of olive oil. If you don't have castile soap you can always use unscented body wash and if you don't have olive oil you can replace it with almond or grape seed oil. If you do not have any of these ingredients on hand you can find them at your local drug store, herbal store, and the grocery store.
The reasons I use these ingredients to make the homemade moisturizing wake up body wash are because the coffee helps wake us up, olive oil helps moisturize the skin, castile oil helps cleanse the skin, and aloe vera juice helps nourish and protect the skin. Coffee also contains caffeine, natural moisturizers, and antioxidants that help tone, firm, and hydrate the skin so it look younger, brighter, and glowing.
The way to make the homemade moisturizing wake up body wash is by taking the 1 cup of super strong coffee, 1 cup of liquid hemp castile soap, ½ cup of aloe vera juice, and 1 cup of olive oil and placing them into a small bowl or cup. Then I simply take a wire whisk and whisk the ingredients together until I get a slightly thick oily coffee scented brown body wash. Once the body wash is made which only takes a whole 5 minutes you can take it into the shower and use it to wash up with to help you wake up in the morning.
Now I think the best way to use the homemade moisturizing wake up body wash by getting into the shower and drenching my body with plenty of warm water. After I take my large bath sponge and pour some of the body wash onto it and begin washing up. Sometimes after pouring some of the body wash onto the sponge I pour the rest all over my body and take the sponge and lather myself up all over with it on mornings when I am super sleepy. The body wash is oily, does smell like coffee, lathers up really well with rich foamy bubbles, and rinses off very well without leaving any soap behind on your skin. After your shower you will be more awake and your skin will be very hydrated, soft, bright, and glowing. If you decide to use this body wash every morning you will notice your skin begin to firm and tone up which might be very helpful to those of you suffering from cellulite.
The other way I have used this homemade moisturizing wake up body wash is by as a bubble bath soap. I simply fill my bath tub up with warm water and pour about 2 cups of this homemade body wash into the tub with the water and swish it around with my hands until I get a bunch of bubbles and a nice strong coffee scent. Then I simple get into the tub and soak for as long as I can on mornings when I don't have a lot to do and want to relax. Once I get out of the bath my skin is super soft and I am more alert and awake.
I really do hope those of you who try making the homemade moisturizing wake up body wash have an easy time making it and a wonderful time using it in the shower to help wake you up. I wish you all a very good morning and hope you wake up just enough to get on with your day properly.
